As the family’s commercial interests developed, those activities expanded from farming into shipping and maritime trade, and ultimately into a broader portfolio of operating companies and long-term holdings.
Throughout our history, the family has placed particular value on discretion, continuity and private ownership, traditionally maintaining a limited public profile while allowing its businesses to develop independently over time.
The family remains somewhat surprised by the growing interest in the Käulkslarg name, its heritage and the brand associated with it.
